::Flick Quickie::

After the creative success of The Nightmare Before Christmas (and with Tim Burton again producing), director Henry Selick went all out to bring to life Roald Dahl's fantastic adventure, James and the Giant Peach. The result is the smooth combination of stop-motion animation, computer animation, and live action, with no limitations for illustrating James' dream world. As this small boy desires to escape from his evil aunties, curious events occur that allow his imagination to set him free. With the vessel of a giant peach to carry him from England to America, he befriends a cast of critters, voiced by the likes of Richard Dreyfuss, Susan Sarandon, Simon Callow, and Jane Leeves.

DVD extras include a behind-the-scenes featurette, a Randy Newman music video, a photo gallery and trailer.
