Oscars 2008 sum-up

Good night. No big surprises, no big upsets (well, one) -- great talents won the awards they deserved. I may not have agreed with all of them, but the races were good and some were hard to qualify as superior over others.

I was sooo happy that Best Actress went to Marion Cottilard for her performance in La Vie en Rose. If there is anyone that hasn't seen it, rent it now.
I was also glad to see the movie Once win an award. It was a simple story done beautifully and the actors were deserving.
