Michael Kidd, 1915-2007

Michael Kidd in NYT

Choreographer Michael Kidd died on Sunday.

A killer on Broadway, he's also responsible for some of my favorite moments on film. Seven Brides for Seven Brothers has the best sequences for barn raisin' and axe swingin'.

May there be plenty of lumber to dance on in Heaven.
