Anne Hathaway's on deck to play Judy Garland on both stage and big screen in the upcoming Get Happy double deal.
I have no doubt she can pull it off with the pipes and humor, but I just fell in love with her on screen and off after Rachel Getting Married, and I'm afraid this will be a wilty TV movie-of-the-week.
Perhaps she's reaching for La Vie en Rose territory, but that's a big brass ring to grab!
